H.E. Moses Mabengban Bukari
Former PNDC District Secretary
Moses Mabengban Bukari is a Ghanaian Politician. After serving as PNDC District Secretary from 1988-1993, he was also a Member of Parliament that represented Saboba Constituency in the Northern Region of Ghana during the First and Second Parliaments of the Fourth Republic, following his initial election to Parliament in 1992 and re-election in 1996. Throughout his parliamentary career, Hon. Bukari was committed to advancing the welfare of his constituents and promoting socio-economic development in the Northern Region.
Beyond Parliament, Hon. Bukari held several positions in government. He served as Northern Regional Minister, Deputy Minister, District Chief Executive for Saboba District, and Ambassador, collectively spanning an illustrious 21 years of public service.
He also contributed to the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as the Second National Vice Chairman, playing a pivotal role in the party’s organizational and strategic growth.
A committed educator, Hon. Bukari began his professional career as a teacher and later became the Head of the Mathematics Department t the University of Education, Winneba. His passion for education and academic excellence reflects in his leadership and mentorship of future generation.
He is an alumnus of the Advanced Teacher’s Training College, where he earned a Diploma in Mathematics, and the University of Leeds, United Kingdom, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.
