Hon. Charles Binipom Bintin is a distinguished Ghanaian politician and educationist who has served his nation in various capacities, demonstrating strong leadership and commitment to public service. He represented the people of Saboba Constituency in both the Fourth and seventh Parliaments of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.

Before venturing into politics, Hon. Bintin began his professional career in education. From 1999 to 2001, he served as a tutor at the Evangelical Presbyterian Secondary School, where he contributed to the academic and moral development of his students.

Hon. Bintin’s political journey began at the local government level, where he served as the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Saboba-Chereponi District from 2001 to 2003. His effective administration and grassroots engagement earned him recognition, leading to his appointment as the Deputy Minister for the Northern Region between 2003 and 2005.

In 2004, Hon. Bintin was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Saboba Constituency, representing his constituents with dedication and advocating for policies that promoted rural development, education, social welfare.

In 2005, he was appointed as the Minister for Local Government, where he played a vital role in strengthening local governance structure and promoting decentralization across the country.
